Resym not working with poseable symmetry

I was modeling one eye with symmetry on, then I look at the other side it's completely mangled for absolutely no reason. So I try resym and smart resym and I get this:

My first thought was that it's mirroring on the original x-axis of the head where it wasn't rotated, but looking at where it's orientated in relation to the base of the neck, it's not even close to where it would be if the pose wasn't altered. So obviously that's not the case.

Any ideas?

when you smart resym see what happens with NO Masking on,
or mask just the area( eye socket) and not half of the model

It's even more mangled.

No masking.

Masking the just the eye I want to keep.

What's a good place to upload it? Otherwise, I could email it to you.

it wont load, save it as a ZTL tool and not a ZProject.
upload the ztl
make sure masking is off all so

Is resym supposed to work with posable symmetry anyway? :/

when you work on a model like yours its best to use symmetry all the way to the end and when your done then you can turn off 1 of the symmetry,
i would not count on posable symmetry to work all the time, if you would of caught the problem you could of un did it=undo
another thing is turn on the "floor" grid, you was modeling it upside down

best i can do by putting the model back to symmetry
i think to download you have to go to the bottom of the page and select slow download

Ah, thanks for the try anyway. Luckily I saved a copy before the eyes were messed up, I guess I'll just have to model asymmetrically.

resym works with x,y,z axis red/green/blue ( see image below)

possable works if the mesh has equal amount of polygons on each side far as i know.

see image below, yours is all out of whack and upside down
