BlobMesh doesn't respect PFlow colors

I have got a particle flow animation where the color changes from blue to yellow and returns to blue, in rendering the implicit objects of particle flow like box etc respect that.

But when i attach a blob mesh it doesn't, it needs UVW. Unfortunately all my UVW tries didn't got the desired results.
Is there any UVW tutorial or any tip that might help?

Thanks.

What material node are you using? You will need to link up the BlobMesh material with the material/wirecolor you are using in PF.

Thanks for reply.

PF material is a standard material with a vertex color map in diffuse port.

I tried to gave it also to blob mesh but obviously fails with uvw. What do you mean by "link up" some modifier - i am a bit rusty with max - ?

Yes, you need to define the vertex color data (UVW Channel: 0) for a vertex color map to work.

So i have the vertex color map from particles how do i transfer it to blob mesh? I think this is what i need to achieve.

I am not sure the BlobMesh can actually acquire the vertex color channel from the particles. I could be wrong, of course, but I tried and failed.

SHAMELESS PLUG AHEAD...
Of course, it works with our Frost particle mesher (which is also thousands of times faster and a lot more flexible), but it also costs quite a lot of money...

See the bottom of this page for vertex color:

The data channel interpolation page is here:
