Question Mesh Generator ?

is there any plugin or software that creates complex, abstract forms and shapes ?
Maybe on top of a low poly surface ?

Here is a picture of the prometheus art:

as you can see.. it would be nice to have a generator who builds random pipes, or structures, shapes and forms.. even abstract... on top of a simple geometry.

What are your thoughts ?

Thank you very much for any little hint !

Hey man,

The artist who laid down the initial concept for the Space Jocky, H.R. Giger, was a really good surrealist artist, and made some pretty twisted stuff.

Depending on the 3D package your using, you might be able to find a plug-in that would generate some greeble for you. Just google "greeble" and the name of your 3D package.

There are definitively greeble generators out there, but to get good looking, Giger-esque results you're gonna have to hand sculpt it in ZBrush.
