Multi Displacment Setup forcing Maya to crash
I have a scene consisting of a head mesh that is broken up into 2 UV tiles.
And I setup my 2 displacement maps in the network shown below. I used a PlusAverage nodes
with a Luminace node.

So when I hit render Mental Ray starts to render half way and then crashes! Sometime I can get
two complete renders and then the third time -Crash!
-I used another setup where I connect my maps using a Layered Texture but that does not with displacement.
-I also tried connecting one map into the Default Color of the 1st map -no luck
- Tried changing the maps into different formats- no luck
- Tried saving the scene in different formats- no luck
- Reinstalled Maya 2013sp2 and even reformatted HDD - no luck
I've had no problems with previous projects
Does Maya now dislike multiple displacement for one piece of geometry?
