Exclamation how to convert particles to polygonal object

Hi. im new to maya and i wanna know how to convert particles to polygonal objects. it doesnt matter whether it is particles or nparticles. i wanna make a huge buller rain. ive moddled a bullet and now i wanna make it as a particle.
does anybody know how can i do this ? and sorry for my bad english.

If you want to make te bullets colliding you must stick to rigid bodies and pregenerated bullets thrown in the stage, as neither particles nor nParticles support convex shape collisions of particle instances. In other words - you can collide only sphere shapes and display instanced objects ... what REALLY sucks btw with nParticles :(
