Collaborative Game Engine For The Web

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our game engine to the computer graphics and game developer community and gather as much feedback as possible. (Technically, our engine is a app/game collaboration platform built using only web technologies.)

We believe web technologies can bring out a unique aspect of game development process and that is sharing. However, comparing to C++ and Java, Javascript and HTML are missing one important ingredient: application-level object-orientation. To overcome that shortcoming, our platform adds an extra layer of framework on top of existing web technologies to offer object orientation. Basically, it allows users to wrap any HTML, XML, Javascript, Vector Graphics, 3D Mesh, Texture Materials, Animations, etc. into reusable and sharable objects. We have also built a public database enabling users to exchange objects for building end applications and games.

Our long term strategy is to build a web game engine that ultimately will run on the upcoming Google game console.

The web client is free of charge. You can sign up here.
It only takes a minute to sign up and you get 5GB of cloud space for free.

One catch, since it is a cloud computing platform, everything you put into your vault is stored securely on our servers located in Texas.

Once you publish an application, it becomes publicly accessible and moved to an external URL such as:

The platform is not feature complete yet (early alpha). We are working on adding physics and collision detection system, light effects (lens flare, god's ray), particle system (near completion), and morph/skeletal animation support. The things your can do right now is keyframe animation (location, rotation, and scale), uv materials, skybox, etc.
You can also use ray cast method to do rudimentary collision detection.

This will be a paid opportunity. I am setting up a crowd funding campaign at If it goes well, part of the fund will go into the game development. One condition, any media assets associated with the game should be made reusable and published to our repository so that anyone can reuse them later to create other games.
