VrayForC4D and C4D with MAXON license server (MLS)

Hello,
Wonder if any of you can offer a creative way to go around this problem. Apparently the only way to make VrayForC4D floating using the MAXON license server is if all licenses of Cinema 4D share the same serial number. I won't go into details, but as easy as that seems, getting one serial for all licenses is not that easy. Do any of you know of a way around it so that Vray can also run on the MLS? Many thanks.

It might be good to post this on the VrayforC4D Support forums - Stefan will be able to get the answer for you.

Hi

as i think our support said to you can you also make several serials float.
but for this ,must set the maxon lic server to which ips each c4dserial is going( like groups or pools) so the right key is loaded n the right serial. so one vray lic can then start on a selected range of computers.

the easiest is to have all serials the same. but other setups are also possible, with some work on the lic server setup.
