Question Blend Walk Styles

Hey Guys,

I'm working on a school project, involving Maya character animation but I've hit a little hurdle and I'm not to sure how to proceed. Basically, what I'm trying to do is create a system that will allow me to take two walk cycles and somehow blend their individual styles into a new style. For instance, if I take a walk cycle of guy limping, I want to be able to blend/mix this with a jogging walk cycle. This will result in a jogger who is now limping. I'm kind of new to Maya, so I am not to sure if there is a tool or set or tools that can do this already. I have tried using Maya's Non-Linear Trax editor, however the character rig in question seems to favor one clip over the other. Does anybody have any ideas on how I could accomplish this?

Thanks,
Lex
