[WiP] G36C gun texture

Hey all i was wondering if i can get ur thougths bout my texture what are flaws what needs to be corrected , i watched racer445 tutorial but didnt get much , textures are Diffuse , Spec , Normal and Gloss , rendered in Xoliul shader 3DS max

at this point i want to mention that the gun is not made with metal its reinforced polymer so i wasnt goin for metal look.
I still dont know if all gun is made of polymer or some parts like ( i guess ) barrel is made of metal.

I would like to hear from experienced gun texturers what are their thoughts bout this and maybe they can provide some guidence / help for me

Having used a G36 I can tell you that although the receiver is indeed made of polymer there is a distinct difference in colour between the upper and lower receiver. The RIS rasil along the top is metal and yes the barrel and flash hider are metal also. oddly enough for reference pictures your best bet is going to be doing a search for airsoft replicas. Many of the manufacturers go to great lengths to get accurate colouring and texturing.

Ive watched countless ref pictures ( mainly asg replicas) and on none of them the RAS looks like metal , anyway i will redo the rail because im not one inch happy with texture work there

PS if only i bumped on this video earlier : Cool g36c video some great angles high quality video bout g36c
