My Stereoscopic C4D work on the Electric Zoo 2012 Main Stage

I just completed work on the Electric Zoo, check it out.

That's stereoscopic?

No, that isn't stereoscopic on vimeo because it was interlaced on the monitors at the show. I contemplated putting an anaglyphic render on there but it messes up the color and is kind of a waste of time.

Are you doing some stereo renders now? The workflow on the c4d interface kind of sucks but it's better than nothing.

ok, thought maybe something was wrong on my end.

I am messing with stereoscopic renders with Houdini HD. I haven't upgraded my C4D
from Studio 8, so I don't have any knowledge of it's workflow, etc. I'm sure others
here could talk to you about it.

Be cool if you output some side-by-side renders for us nerds with passive polarized tv's hooked up as external monitors. Just tested mine out this weekend and am able to force the tv mode into a variety of 3d projections... line interleaved, side-by-side, over-under. Line interleaved works best for maintaining true 1080p at 240hz on my LG ( so I read from a crash course study over the weekend ). Which I would have liked to investigate when I was messing about with my new goPro 3D rig, but the compositing software provided said that export option was unavailable to me ( hardware? software updgrade? ) Was pretty cool being able to adjust the 3d effect real-time in interleaved mode, then export as side-by-side, change my projection type on the tv to play back the side-by-side full-screen.
Going to have to get in and start tinkering with C4D's real-time stereo workflow here eventually.

Going to have to agree I'd find anaglyphic renders a waste of time...these days.

There´s some cool artsy stuff in your videos.
Stereo 3d needs to be much slower paced like
the robot camera on 1:00.
Most of the videos have very fast movements
which could be much slower / have more frames.
