Just got a new monitor today! Wow, my last image looked terrible! So since this thread was still open I figured I would do a couple quick changes and submit a file that looked more like what I was seeing on the older monitor. So no scene changes, just tweaking some lights so that the image looked more like what I really was going for.

Hey all. I know its late but since the thread is still open I figured I'd post what I've come up with. I've only recently started doing lighting seriously, and I've been going through the old challenges for practice. Shaders are a whole new area for me so there's not really much of them in this. Only spent last night doing the lighting, but I can't wait for the next challenge so I can spend more time working on it! This is in Lightwave btw.

I see now that on Jeremy's 3drender.com site this is being called a Jewelry Lighting Challenge.
Has the challenge changed for some reason?

@brookselliott: Hmm, it still says Jewelry Rendering Challenge when I look. I don't think the title would really change the challenge anyway.

Cheers and God bless.
