Setting Object and Material Groups

A quick tute on dividing up a mesh into Object and Material Groups for OBJ export would be good... anybody?

No tut necessary! Select polys, assign material (materials/light>material editor), done!

If you're talking about Poser type groups Silo doesn't support them (as far as I know!), just take your model into UVmapper and assign groups there. - Baz

gotcha... I was hoping to avoid that part... :(

You're right about Poser, though I'm mainly concerned with the OBJ format (best exchange format that I have experience with)

It would be good if a future edition of silo at least supported object groups in a singlemesh...
