Hey im new to 3D Work...need some tips

Im a talented character designer (2d) or at least, ive been told I am, and ive attempted making some of my characters 3D but the only ones ive actually been able to do are the simplest of characters...I am asking for tutorials, places to find tutorials, anything that can help me get started (I have 3DsMAX7) please help...
