Having issues with a model

Hey guys,
Im a modder for shogun2, and I am having a little trouble importing some ripped models into the game.

First off I have rigged and imported about 100 models to Shogun2 so far. all working just fine.
The problem is with these few "ripped" models taken from Koei games with programs like ninjaripper/3dripper

I just started trying to rig and Import them and there is a weird error.

First Each body piece of the model comes with like 8 duplicates, so Ive tried deleting them all except 1, and later ive tried just attaching them all to eachother 8x, and the same error still occurs.

What happens is the model looks perfectly normal in 3ds max, I rig it, and import into the converter program for Shogun2, and it comes out all distorted.

I will show you some examples:

Rigged looks fine:

Result is distorted:

Im assuming this has to do something with like back face culling or some weird rendering mechanics, Resetting Xform? I dont know. I do not think this has to do with the Modding program at all, because like I said, Ive done over 100 other models, and havent had any issues, Its just these that were ripped a certain way..I guess a good question to start is why does KOEI have like 8 LODs come out with these models? or is it the ripper software that does this? why?
Im a pretty huge amateur so any advice i would really appreciate. Let me know if you know how to solve this problem, THANKS!
