Although I didn't know him, just realized from his portfolio that he was behind the ladybird and earlbird images. They are hugely inspiring character works and often a point of reference for many of my colleagues. Wish his family peace and solace.

I also remember many of his works. He left good memories for many of us. And, it's pity to hear, this is a big loss and not easy.

Rest in peace. :(

Very inspirational guy... I remember when I first saw the flea circus image. I was blown away. Not many people have such a grasp of the technical and the aesthetic. My prayers and heart go out to his family.

Terribly sad news - especially at such an age.
I can certainly remember the first time I saw those images - they were stand-out and inspirational - and remain so some ten years later.
Condolence to his family, friends and colleagues.

His Art will be his Legacy. Now he is Immortal.

I never quite know what to say in these occasions :-(
He will be missed and remembered.
So sad.

Wow. So terrible.

I remember seeing the first of his Bird series years ago and how inspired I was by them. Never got to interact (though I tried emailing) except for one compliment he left on one of my gallery posts.

That's the only compliment that ever struck me here only because of his level of pure talent, skill and inspired artistry. He really showed off what C4D could do if you had the talent.

I was always hoping we'd see more birds...

RIP.

That's terribly sad news. I absolutely love his work and it's instantly recognizable. His art will live on. Rest in peace.

So sad, just heard the news, I always looked forward to seeing Pupii's latest creation; whenever he posted an image it felt like a present if that makes sense - something to treasure, I loved his works and they inspired me more than anyone else to become a 3D artist.

RIP Peter

Sad news for sure. He wasn't just extremely talented, he was a great guy who shared his knowledge whenever he could.
