Face Streching

Hello Everybody

When sculpting in Mudbox, specially for the times that I deform the object partly, as I add small details such as crevices or micro dis, I get the faces stretched or behaving strangely, which happens as if the UVs are facing problem, but I think that UVs are not influencing entire process of sculpting. then what the reason could be?

use the smooth brush to smooth it out...
use the smooth brush after every stroke to hold your mesh clean...
in some cases you need a better topology to avoid such problems...

may i see the basemesh in this area..?

yes of course
this is the exact base mesh that I have imported in Mudbox and then subdivided it with "position subdivision" turned off.

ok thats a problem... you have to long and thin faces...
you sould work more quad based and with edge creasing...
cut in more edges to get quads...

then the mesh in Maya must be a little smoothed. thanks
