Going digital ?

First of all...

"A happy and creative new year for all of us." Kinda late, but it has a lot of good vibrations in that words.

Theres a bunch of new post around and Im not adding much just posting in my own thread. Ill pray for some spare time to read and see your art. But in meantime I wont loose the opportunity to share some of my new sketches.. this time, digital.

I think Ill give ZBrush a try. Im seeing a lot of interesting pictures here and there. Looks like a great and user-friendly tool to make art...

"The images below are two of the first serious attempt with ZbBrush 3. Theres a lot of anatomy and sculpt gaps, but Im preety happy with the results. I could make two studies using just the tools Ive learned so far (ZTools, Brushes, SubTools and Poly Paint)..."

Anyway. Looks like a neat tool to bring to live some of the images in my head. Hope you enjoy (in some way...)

ps.: and yes. Im still drawing. Theres a new sketchbook on the way. A good knowledge in anatomy still my primary goal. : )

Back to the drawing board

So, I'll try back to the track in the Figure Drawing studies.
The last months I've changed my mind about life and art. I've learned and discovered a lot of things, but some of them still need to be "polished"...

And yes. I still with a bad english. : )

Anyway. Hope you guys accept me back in the Boards. And hope I can help you with the things I've learned.

That's some Gesture drawings I did last week. Got my Villpus book and I'm doing the exercises.

That's it. If you like to see what's new in my art, check my Blog. But unfortannely I'll keep that in Portuguese.

HEY Agnaldo.

REALLY NICE sense of movement, energy and flow in those gestures..especally the first set..the crayon ones...I think you have a better feel for that tool/crayon, and should continue to develope it..You might try doing some/alot of those gestures using large sheets of newsprint paper with conte crayon..the reddish colored conte crayons make great looking figure gestures when done on that newsprint paper which is not too expensive, so you can do a ton of them for learning and practice, without having to spend a lot of money for materials,..and it also allows you to work big, which also has alot of advantages when learning and practicing..
Anyway, ..Glad to see you back in the forum and posting again..
TAKE CARE
Glenn
