FumeFx starting the Sim in the Middle?

Hi all,
The most fustrating thing I face with FumeFx is trying to start my simulation in the middle of the timeline.
For example, I created an explosion from frame 1 to 400.
I am trying to simulate frames 300 to 400.

My issue is the simulation doesn't generate the explosion as it would "appear at frame 300" UNLESS I start from frame 1 and simulate to 300.

Is there a way to tell fumefx to start simulating at any frame intervals (like rendering)
but without having to start the simulation from the begining?

I tried setting the start frame to 300 but all it did was simulate blank frames.

The basic nature of a solver requires you to have information the precedes the current frame (or create new information at that frame) in order for future frames to be processed.

There is no interval simulation mode.

It would be nice to be able to up-res with wavelet midway through, I have asked about something similar.
