Good Maya Surfaces tutorial
being a former 3ds max user, I'm quite easily fed up with Maya's modelling.
However, I do want to get better at it, and quicker. I always liked 3ds max splines + extrude + modifiers. Unlike polymodels in maya, you can always go back to make simple adjustments.
I really would like to get awesome at modeling with lines and surfaces in Maya. Does anyone know a good tutorial? For example...how do I make an iphone with this technique? (I choose iPhone because of the nice lines and subtle details). I think if I know how to make this, I will know how to make other stuff to.
So basicly I want to know how to use lines+surfaces for non-organic objects.
Who can get me started?
