Translucency in an mib color mix

Good day everyone,

I have a problem to which I hope anyone can help me with.

I have a mesh which in the texture has oil stains over it.
The mesh itself uses a mis fast shader x passes to create translucency.
The oil however uses a different mia material x shader to have a different reflection etc.

Before trying the mib color mix I tried the maya layered shader.
Added the above materials to combine them.
However.. the translucency disappeared when I use this shader.
It becomes regular in the render.

So I decided to use an mib color mix, did the whole shazam of linking it to a shading group.
Added the base fast shader I set up for the translucency as a color 0.
Added the oil with the mask in the weight like I did with the maya layered shader so that I have the oil bumped and everything on top of the base mesh.

The render shows the base mesh, the masked oil stains look fine but AGAIN the translucency effect is gone and the mesh is normal.

At this moment I am thinking of just rendering both separate and joining them in post.
But I am curious if there is a way to let it work.

Basically, I want my base mesh to keep the translucency attributes the misss fast shader x passes and layered on top the shader I have for the oil stains.

Can anyone help? Or should I just stick to rendering both separate and doing it in post.
