Mesher - Environment (UVW Map and Converting to mesh)


Im building rock based environment, so decided to take a chance and do it in PF. When Im done with my environment I want to assign some gradient to it, to see better higher peeks and lower areas. So I make a mesher and assign PF to it. Than on a top I make UVW Map - the mapping changes in viewport, but its projecting in Z and I want X or Y. And just when I change mapping to X or Y, the object disappear! The mesher itself exist and slot "Pick object" contains my original PF, Update button doesnt do anything. I have to get rid of UVW Map and reassign to view my mesher object again.

1) Am i doing something wrong? Can I change meshers mapping?
2) Can I actually convert mesher to a real poly mesh? I need tu use my environment to make some destruction in RayFire
