isolate in max 2013 has to click twice to respond??

Why every time i want to isolate an object in 3ds Max 2013 I have to click "Alt + Q" Twice in order to respond? Any idea about that?

i think it's either isolate on or off, you can't isolate some objects and then select a few of them and isolate again like you used to. which is very annoying imo
