The shader is 2 fR advanced shaders combined in a shellac material.
The base Material is dark grey with a strong blurry reflection. The shellac is a pure black material with full higloss reflections. The shellac material is mixed in, with an amout of 20

But the main thing is the balance between shader an Lightsetup. My selfillum planes have a huge output to mimic the lights behavior.

My Idea regarding animation is to start in an open sky scene and end in that studio environment in one "magic transition". Not that heavy drive action planned.

BTW does anyone has a clue about car rigs?

P.S. first, yet flat looking outside shot:

Thats really impressive!

It actually looks more impressive when the car goes through to the studio type environment and the light changes with a few bright spots.

The dust was pretty good on the sand, but what would have made it better (if it was at all possible) is to maybe have sand actually appearing on the car surface, like a texture that builds up.
I know if its supposed to show the car new, that can't happen, but that was just my impression, since the sand would affect it more.
*Detail is the Key to realism*
