Deleting old Pflow events

I've used an old file of mine in a project which contains about 20 particle events.
I've deleted the unnecessary objects from scene including those pflow objects however when I want to create a new Pflow object I see all my events are still there.

The problem is, when I select any events, it crashes. When I try to merge that scene into an empty max scene All events are present in the merge objects dialog. Several of them. (Birth events, age tests everything...) But they are not selectable objects in that scene - only when merging.

I can't merge the rest of the scene excluding particles because some objects change scale erratically - more things get corrupt.

I need to wipe clean all the particle flow stuff from this scene, but ordinary methods directly crash Max. Are there any other methods?

Solved!

As it was urgent and and I couldn't even select a single event I rushed to start the thread.
I've managed to delete them with an interesting method:

I thought about merging the same particle events into the same scene - Since event names would conflict, Max would give a chance to delete the old ones without selecting them and while new events are merged, they might not contain the corrupted data.

It worked. I can now select and delete them.

Thanks anyway.
