Simple question - rain

Hello there.
I've made a rain with Particle flow, and I set the birth to start somewhere around at 250 frame.
However, the rain is starting with full strength at 250 frame, but I want that start with few drops, and then becomes stronger and stronger.

Is there a way to make birth gradually grow, so, let's say, on 250th frame it starts with 1000 particles, and grow up to the 30.000 particles at 350th frame.

Thanks in advance.

You have to use the Birth->Rate and set two keyframes.

As a simple example at frame 250 set a Rate keyframe of 0.0 then ramp up to something like frame 300 + keyframe Rate 1000.0. This will give a slow to fast birth rate.

Oh.. i totally forgot for birth rate.
Thanks a lot Johnny, I've already planned to make 4-5 particle systems with different start, but animating a birth rate is just the thing I wanted.

Thanks again.
