How do you delete history?

I'm using probooleans only to have my operands disappear. I've tried everything from checking for flipped faces, open edges, making edges line up, making sure that the operands don't come into contact with ngons, welding vertices, and making sure both operands are individual meshes. The only other solution I've heard of is deleting the object's history and I don't know how to do that.

If you don't have enough geometry on the area it can do that also.

If you post a screenshot we might be able to tell

Boolean voodoo... you must sacrifice small renditions of teapots sanctified with xforms to the almighty spirit of great polygon.

Screenshots are worth 2 thousand words or more.

You can clear your Undo buffer by running a garbage collect via maxscript. This will remove any undo history, but I know nothing of this object history of which you speak, not to say that it isn't there.

simply enter this into the mini-listener and hit the NumPad Enter key (the normal enter key will not evaluate the code)

If you are referring to the object's modifier stack - you can not delete it, but collapse it. Right click the modifier stack and click collapse.
