Thanks! Glad you like it.

Here's the finished upper leg with inner frame for the knee (RMB>ViewImage> +, to enlarge):

Same deal as with the previous image, as far as ironing-out of some glitches are concerned.

It's getting tight. More than 24 hours left and Roberto has already posted the final thread .....

Cheers!

Here's all the stuff from the voting thread:

HCR # 39 GMonsters/GRobots: Freedom Gundam ZGMF-X10A - Gundam Seed

Beauty Render:

Orthos: (RMB>View Image, to get an enlarged view)

Wires:

In the end ZB still kept on crashing like crazy, so there wasnt enough time for a Vray render. Now I'm off to catch at least a handful of zzz's for tonight.

Great work everybody!

Cheers!

PS: Btw, posing this thing in ZB was such a nightmare, that I'm walking away massively traumatized and will never try that again. lol

I'm prepping the model for a Vray clay-render and made some smaller fixes here and there, as well as re-worked some proportions. Here are some newer BPR-renders with the standard greyClay Matcap and an alternative wire-frame view straight out of ZB reflecting those changes. (I don't really know what I'm doing in regards to proper BPR, just playing with the shadow-settings etc.)

So let me know what you think! All c&c's greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

PS: If I have time tonight, I'll try to get that first Vray render done and post it tomorrow.

Thank you very much, Samuel. Coming from you that sure means a lot!

I didn't have a lot of time yesterday, but did get started on that Vray render. Here are the results of how far I got last night.

About the only thing I'm sort of happy with is the lighting and camera setup, everything else is still in the works.

Cheers!
