RayFire Tool

Hi All, Last Five days (and two days for renders by the way) I spent creating RayFire Tool, You will not belive me, but I started learn max script three month ago and this is my third script. I created it by impression of Blur`s Impact system tool written by Daniel P Ferreira.
I`m not only one who decided to create stuff like that, here link to JHaywood thread and his great Winchester FX.

Maybe you remember results from my second script, which called "Fracturer", it can create holes in thin wall with PFlow support. Forget it, it`s too slow.
I decided to combine Fracturer capabilities with my new RayFire Tool and here what I have got. RayFire can create standard debris, smoke (which automatecaly create afterburn and add particles in it), displacement, decals (plane with texture) and lights, but also now you can create bullets and HOLES.
All geometry solving takes about 12 seconds, and that`s all. You can render. Smoke and explosions rendered with AfterBurn
Here is Video, don`t miss, it`s really cool.

Maybe effects is not real, but I always try to create more nice looking images.

Thanks for note, Psycho.
This update specially for You, buddy.
RayFire Tool v.1.20
1. Now RayFire remember All created objects and Last created objects no matter when You create them. Check On "Last" interactive mode. After that You can select\hide\unhide\freeze\unfreeze all last objects or make the same operations for any kind of stuff using their local SHF buttons.
2. RayFire remember all settings when You close it and load them when You open it.
3. And coolest feature - Presets . Now You can save as many preset settings as You want, Push Save button, give proper preset name and after that You can load them at any time.
I think it is good idea if load preset button will work in conjunction with any interactive mode. Maybe I will add this feature in next update.
Make sure that You unzip archive properly. Thanks.

Smile Excellent Tool!

This is one of the greatest tools for 3ds Max, and I compliment you on it's creation and your extreme talents. I have purchased this tool and enjoy trying out all the different tasks it performs, I love special effects.
I could really use some help though especially in tutorials and guidance. I cannot get muzzleflash to work and I have tried everything.
If there are any tutorials or help of anykind that gives a better description on how to use the various tools I would be most grateful.

Thank You and keep up the excellant work!

Hi fireknght2. Thanks for good words.
In next 24 hours I will release 1.32 with nice new chm help file compiled by JohnnyRandom.
Today I tried to create some video tutorials but seems that I underestimated how hard to create them. Even on russian language. So, this part will take some time.

Smile Thank You for sharing your Talents

I wished there was a way I could help you create the Tutorial videos. I'm pretty good in mutlimedia field but I lack experience in all of the benefits that Ray Fire provides. Its one amazing tool that you have created and improved, a fine display of knowledge. I am surprised that Autodesk has not approached you to purchase the program to be added to 3ds Max as a permanent tool.
One of the most outstanding features is the price...you didn't put it out of reach for the common person who does not have the money to purchase a plugin as valuable as Ray Fire Tool is. I look forward to the update and most especially the chm file.
Keep up the good work and if there is anything I might be able to do to help you please let me know.
