Tiny tweak to this Maxscript, can anyone help?

Hi all

I'm using a script to render out an imported poser lip synch sequence in max (Poser animations don't seem to render without a script it would seem).

So I have the script but the output size is HD and the region I need to render is tiny, so can anyone help modify this script to allow region render as opposed to the whole frame?

Its for an animation so it would make the difference between 10hrs+ or 30 mins to render!

Thanks in advance (I should add I didn't write this script or know anything about maxscript so I don't really know where to start!)

startframe = 0
endframe = 300
tempframe = startframe

for i = startframe to endframe do
(
tempframe +=1
print "Framenumber is now:"
print tempframe as string
print "Filename at this frame would be:"
cow = (formattedPrint tempframe format:".4i" + ".png")
cow = "Filename" + cow
file = "D:\\HTM 2\\readings\\closeup1\\test" + cow
print file
sliderTime = i
render outputfile:file

)

Change the line

render outputfile:file

to...

render outputfile:file renderType:#region region:#(left,top,right,bottom)

and put in your values there

Many thanks Dave however how do I find the coordinates of the region I want to render, that corresponds with the region select box in the main render frame? I know that sounds like such a numpty thing to ask...

I think....

If you just put this...

render outputfile:file renderType:#region

It'll use the region render box that is in your current viewport.
