I've been working on this image on and off for a little while now, mostly because it takes so long to render. But after a RAM upgrade, I feel I'm finally making some progress.
It's based off this image:

C&C (like always) is appreciated.

You base on the model or the model + light+camera angle etc?

A little bit of everything, but mostly the model and the lighting. Maybe I need to amp the exposure up on the Vray Camera to make it more like the photograph?

I really like the mood of the black & white version, one of those scenes you can just stare at for ages...

It's been hard finding the time to work on this recently, but progress is slowly (but surly) coming along. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it B&W at this point in time, but it certainly fixes the problems I'm been having with my HDRI (which is casting a hard shade of purple on everything) and keeps more true to the source image.

I decided to do a 720p res render today, and it took 11 and a half hours. Since it took so long, I mind as well upload it. This is the original:

And this is with a bit of post production (a mock up really):

If anything, rendering that large as opened up a long list of things to fix, which I wouldn't have been able to spot on the previous low res renders. The progress goes on.
