How can I get rid of this black lines?

Hi.

I found these weird black lines running over my model, they are marked in red in the picture below:

And they are far more noticeable in the render:

I don't know if this lines are normal, but they are certainly bothering me. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

Kind Regards

It looks like it's just a wanky shading thing with the default lighting set up. What you're seeing there is, I believe, the default 2 light set up, and that black line is effectively where the two opposing lights terminators don't quite overlap. Trying shoving some lights in the scene and see what happens.

I could be wrong, though - does the black line stick where it is on the model (ie always running along the cheek area) or does it move around the model as you rotate? If the latter, then I think my above idea is correct.

Looks like normal viewport shading to me.

Apply a material, use some lighting and it will probably disappear.

Try switching to the single light headlight default light setup. I can't stand the static two light setup.

turning on shadows also might help making it look more 'correct'

OK, it was the 2 light setup. I changed it to 1 light in the viewport configuration, and it fixed (i guess this was kind of a noob question...).
Including lights in the scene also made them disappear.

Thanks for the help!

Kind Regards
