Red Riding Mech, Desmond Wong (2D)

Title: Red Riding Mech
Name: Desmond Wong
Country: Singapore
Software: Photoshop

A twist to the classic Red Riding Hood tale. What if they all had mechs...how much epic would visiting your grandma in the woods be?!?!?! I used Photoshop to paint this.

Comments are most welcome! Thank you very much!

Thumbs up

hahaha. You're right, it is epic. I love the expression on the girl and the mecha. I noticed you gave her mecha girly eyes (complete with eyelashes). It makes the mecha feel more alive and in tuned with the girl. I bet she's thinking "taste my fist, wolf scum." Great leaping action with the wolf mecha. Could use some more shadows for the chest and legs to enhance the foreshortening, though. It would be extra funny if there was a wolf piloting the wolf mecha (snicker). Anyway, this is a really cute and funny piece. Keep it up. Nice work.

Wow, thank you so much! Those are very legit comments, and I will definitely work to add those suggestions in! (but maybe not the wolf piloting the wolf...not sure how to fit him in, hahahaha)

hehe. That comment about the wolf piloting was more for fun than an actual suggestion. Glad you liked my comments. Good luck on your next piece.
