vrayHDRI glitters

Hi, I was rendering a scene, so I loaded as spherical environment, a .hdr file into a vrayHDRI map, wich I put into to the reflection/refraction environment override, just to add some reflections to my scene, so the studio wouldn't be just the infinite background, but the problem is that it's causing some sort of bright pixels into more opaque objects. here's what I'm talking about: (no anti aliasing just to speed up render times, but the same occurs with high settings, and high subdivision multiplier)

without vray environment reflection override:

with vray environment reflection override:

any ideas what I should do to fix that?

I'm on latest max and vray.
thanks

you can see it better if you copy the image links and open them in a new tab

you could try using the clamp output option to see if that helps, it seems to be bright pixels so maybe that will help...as for why that is happening, no idea..

Have you tried lowering the adaptive amount below 1 and increasing the glossiness samples on that particular material? Have you tried lowering the render multiplier on the vrayhdri map? You could also enable sub-pixel mapping as well as clamp output.

Or maybe a 'faked' interpolated reflection might work. I'm assuming of course that the white spots are caused by a high hdri white luminence causing issues with glossiness samples. Sometimes even a very slight blur on the map can reduce this artifect greatly.
