After School Activities?

Hey guys, got a question, so for most schools there is a field where people put "after school activities", normal kids put like High School Football teams, Honor Society, school bands...

Well I explore photoshop after effects, maya, website stuff... after school, but if I put that for "after school activities" it seems like so ... not formal, like putting "video games" as activity

other school kids's activity have like a organization (school, ymca..) how do I make what I do seems more important to the schools?

Self educating CG art just gotta find fancy ways of saying it lol. Playing video games could be like, studying interactive entertainment mechanics and art. But in all seriousness, you are right, it can be hard to sound correctly formal. And don't feel weird saying you watch movies or play games a lot. For instance a level designer needs to know what is fun to play. And most schools really look for passion for the industry.
