MoGraph center clones to 2D text parts

Hi Guys I'm trying to align MoGraph clones to the very center of each circle of text made by using "Perfograma" font (kind of old style "punch card"). Normally I'd use count distribution and use transform to shoft the objects BUT it seems that some "holes" has different starting points so some object are then shifted incorrectly. Is there any way to tell MoGraph to place the clone to the center of each sub-objects?

Sorry the description may be a bit confusing, hopefully screenshot attached helps.

thanks for any advices

No problem ... attaching an image to a post doesn't always work.

Is this what you want ? If so ... extrude the font @ .05 or less.

EDIT: Using CC's option, you only need to use one of the 2 resultant caps

Hey Mildak - if you want to get the centre point of each circle, try lofting the connected circles spline, then convert to polys and run 'collapse', which turns each discrete poly into a single point. You can then use these points as a source to attach clones onto.

Thanks guys
I have to admit that I;m not sure what do you mean by those advices. I;ve tried both lofting and extrude and the results are still not objects centered
Anyways, I've found the way that works for me:
1/ convert text to spline
2/ Mesh -> spline -Explode segments to make separate spline from each "circle"
3/ Select all the circles and do "center axis to"
4/ Select all the circles and set scale to something small (such as 0.01)
5/ Select all the circles -> mesh -> conversion -> cconnect object+delete to create single object again
6/ Use the resulting object as object in mograph, set the source objects 100x times bigger (since those are scaled by 0.01 see 4/)

It is probably not the best solution since I do still operate with circles, but those are so small that any shifts actually does not matter.

Since there will be quite a lot of different texts, I was trying to find some kind of "automatic" solution, but this works...

thnaks so much again!
