Maya and Quadro FX3800 on 30" - issues

Hi,

I recently upgraded to a quadro FX3800 on a HP 30"-monitor. With Maya 2011 and Maya 2012 I have the issue that within a Maya session selecting an object and building the attribute-editor becomes slower and slower. After working for an hour selecting a sphere and waiting for the attribute-editor to appear can take up to 2 seconds .. so very sluggish. Restarting Maya and all is fine again for some time.

I tried different drivers but the behaviour is always the same .. V-sync is turned off.

Is there anything I can do about it? Switching back to 2x 24"?

Thansk for any advice.

We use the same video card here. We don't have that particular problem but we have a whole host of other problems since the qt interface was introduced. It's half baked, like many other things in maya.
