Im A Newbie And I Need Help Duplicating My Model

Ive Built half of my model and was wanting to duplicate it and make it line up when i do it its not a mirror image one face will be facing front ways and the other will be back ways. I have a you tube video its only 15 secs long please view it its hard to explain

The problem is that you are not 'flipping' the model, as you state in the video, but rather you are just rotating it. A mirror is not a 180 degree rotation, it is ... a mirror.

In the duplicate special options, reset the rotation to 0.00 and set the scale (along the mirror axis) to -1.0 (negative one). That will mirror your model.

Be aware that scaling a model in this fashion, when you attempt to merge both halves later on, will flip the normals (the duplicated part will have its face normals facing inwards). To work around this, after you've duplicated, apply a Freeze Transform then go to Normals -> Reverse. Then you can merge the to halves.
