Cannot edit sculpt in R19

Hello all,

I had some trouble before with sculpting in R19, then after some crashes these problems suddenly disappeared.
Now another problem arised that I had before also but could earlyer be solved by deleting the sculpt tag and then hitting Control Z.
Opening a scene that I worked on and trying to edit (delete some area's) does not work.
Even more so, trying to make layers visible/invisible does nothing at a certain point; all the sculpted detail just stays on the model.
When I add more detail on that layer, I can easily edit that new detail also make it invisible or clear the layer, but the older detail stays put.
I copied that object to a new file with the same results and restarting cinema or the computer doesn't help.

Anyone recognises this?

Many thanks, Robert

Ok.... I deleted the sculpt tag and started sculpting anew.
All went well until after a while the same problem appeared.
Just when trying to erase some parts of a layer or trying to add detail, messes everything up.
Switching off layers or clearing its content didn't seem to have any effect.
It took me almost a day to discover that this is phong tag related.
Because I am modelling for a 3d-print; i switched of the phong in the layer menu.
It now seems that at a certain moment (don't understand yet when it happens) cinema decided to remember the normals of the sitched of layer or erased part for that matter.
Switching phong back on in the layer menu makes the situation workable again.

Is this a known bug or what?

Regards, robert
