New Tutorials for Smoke, Maya Character Modeling, Maya & 3ds Max Animation, & More

The first new-training release of February is here and we're excited to announce the first training for Autodesk Smoke and seven new tutorials. For those new to Smoke, it is an all encompassing video editing and effects software that provides users with tools for 3D compositing, color correction, and motion graphics.

More training this week also includes a course that takes a deep look at foundational elements of art, with great insight into topics and principles that both traditional and digital artists will be able to use in their work.

With 54 new tutorials in January, this latest release marks 61 new-training options for the year and hundreds more tutorial to pick from in the Digital-Tutors training library.

What's New February 4th, 2013:

Artist's Guide to Smoke 2013 CD: Creating a Sci-Fi Villain in Maya and Silo with Antony Ward

CD: Concepting a Cyborg in ZBrush with Daniele Angelozzi Character Modeling Concepts in Maya

Animation Polishing Techniques in Maya

Animation Polishing Techniques in 3ds Max

Foundational Elements of Art for the Rest of Your Life (Quiz and Test Enabled)

Make sure to head over to the February new-training page to watch the new training video and see all of the latest releases.

Note: Some releases will be larger than others and if you don't see something for your software of choice, we encourage three options: -

(The obvious one) More training coming next week

- Try watching Creative Development courses with tips and techniques that are applicable to many software (we encourage this for mid-to-advanced artists)

- Tell us what you would like to see next! Submit a training request.
