Error in command line render

Hi guys,

Im trying to render a scene by a .bat file, three different cameras, different frame rate for each one (thats the reason to use command line) but im getting this error again and again. I triple check the syntax but no errors found there:

Commands in .bat:
Render r art mr s 1 -e 1261 cam camera1 Motor.mb
Render r art mr s 798 -e 812 cam camera2 Motor.mb
Render r art mr s 812 -e 816 cam camera3 Motor.mb
pause

Error:
C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r art mr s 1 -e 1261
cam camera1 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: art ...

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r art mr s 798 -e 812
cam camera2 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: art ...

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r art mr s 812 -e 816
cam camera3 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: art ...

C:\Users\Rufus\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>pause
Press button to continue . . .

What the Frak its going on? Please, any help would be great

your problem is that you have the -art argument wrong so it thinks "mr" is another filename. Use this command instead:

Render r mr -rt 0 s 798 -e 812 cam camera2 Motor.mb

-rt 0 uses all threads.

you will probably also need the full path to the file.

thanks but...

Yes, I tried at first with rt 0 but didnt work neither. I also tried putting the path, but get the same problem, and I read somewhere that if u put the .bat file in the same directory with your scene .mb work as well without it. I give a try to your suggestion but... :

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r mr -rt 0 s 1 -e 1261
cam camera1 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: mr ...

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r mr -rt 0 s 798 -e 81
2 cam camera2 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: mr ...

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>Render r mr -rt 0 s 812 -e 81
6 cam camera3 Motor.mb
More than one file name is not allowed: mr ...

C:\Users\User\Desktop\Render_final\Motor\scenes>pause
Presione una tecla para continuar . . .

Any thoughts?

Avoid spaces in your filenames or you have to put the file path in quotes. "C:\full\path\to\file name.mb"

Also, make sure you are using a plain text file and not a rich text file. That might be what those characters are showing.

Thanks!

Hey, thanks! It was finally an invisible character copy in the .txt! y rewrote the syntax by hand and it worked!
