Vray not rendering at all

I have installed Vray and when I try to push the "Render View" button nothing happens, the render isn't black, nothing happens when I push the button. I have installed Vray correctly. the .key is in my R12 folder, the 3 dylib files are in the macOS folder in the c4d .app, and the VrayBridge is in the plugins folder. I can see the Vray tags, render settings, and materials in cinema 4d but when I try to push the "Render View" button nothing happens. Although when I try to push "render to picture viewer" it renders to the picture viewer as a black screen. The permissions on all the files are "read and write" for all the options.

You've VRay as active render engine instead of AR/Previews? You have proper lights&camera&action in the scene, so that the engine is not rendering pure darkness? Other than that my guess would be a bad crack?
