Question Rigomatic 5.5 for Maya

Hey guys I have a question. I'm trying to use to rigomatic 5.5 script for Maya to speed up a project that I'm working on. I have a two problems that I would like to ask about for those who have used it. Does the script create a duplicate of joints that remains stationary under the moving joint? Whenever I create my rig it seems to duplicates the joints and I'm wondering of this is supposed to happen. The other problem is when I create a arms the rig goes off from my original joints. There are also some cases for when I rig the arms and legs, it doesn't mirror the joints, IK's, controllers, etc. For the arm settings I have stretchy, distributed rotate, IK/FK Switching, and five fingers checked. For the legs, I have stretchy, distributed rotate, IK/FK Switching, and pole vector knee checked. I would really appreciate the help here and I'm in a rush. Thanks.
