Rotating object with look at constraint

Hey forum,

Im trying to animate a spinning top. Now there are two factors to animating a spinning top that I can think of, which is the actual spinning motion, as well as the gyroscoping effect where it wobbles around as it spins. This video at 17 - 20 seconds shows perfectly what im talking about:

Now What I did to accomplish that was to use a look at constraint and animate a dummy object below it to go round in circles, how ever, It wont let me rotate the spin on the Z axis. I tried adding a linear rotation controller on top of the look at, but it wont rotate properly. Does any one know of a way to get around this?

I figured out adding a rotate list controller and then an euler controller did exactly what I wanted. Although if any one else has something to add or other methods to accomplish this then please feel free to do so.
