I registered to say that I think this is one of the most beautiful 3D fanworks I've seen.

...And to respond to the following:

Really why call this fantasy lady Jean D'Arc ??? Most people are in doubt about her physical beauty and so am I. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful picture, no doubt. But what ruins it for me is this apparent asian manga-approach to displaying European history. And I'd probably stay silent, but there are so many of these floating around these days I couldn't keep my mouth shut this time.
Freakin' stop killing history and remove that name, call her Stormwind or Shulakha or Bloodhen or something.

Yeah, okay. Ever heard of an artist named Michelangelo? Or any other artist from the Renaissance period who painted Biblical figures?

I imagine that you think that paintings of Biblical figures from the Renaissance have "almost no historical value" because they don't accurately depict the physical appearances and clothing of the subjects. (For example, I'm pretty sure most people agree that Leonardo's depiction of Jesus in The Last Supper isn't really what Jesus looked like.)

If you really do think that... well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

I think you just have some kind of beef against the"Asian manga-approach" to subjects that you seem to believe should only be depicted in the European tradition.

I for one wholly embrace an Asian-ized Jeanne d'Arc (it probably helps that I am Asian).

btw, the artist mentions in the thread that yes, this is a fanwork of the cover art you refer to.

Thumbs up

I really love the work you've done on her expression. And the glow effect brings it out more. Along with the pose they capture you. Even though she is not a typical beauty, she still has an irresistible aura. Very well done!
