Hmc#38 - Hydra

this is the fist time i am participating in HMC .I am very excited about it.I am planning to make ray harryhausen's "HYDRA".MY only concern is can i actually modify the original art of HYDRA. Pl z let me know.this Entry is going to be my tribute to the legendary RAY HARRYHAUSEN

I think if you adapt it and keep the basic feel of the original, it should be fine.
I have decided to retro fit my version of Medusa with the inspired suggestion by Boone. So that the final position will be an updated version of the character, but will be recognizable.

I think you'll have fun with this one!

I think the biggest challenge will be joining up each neck to the main body. I certainly wouldn't do it joining each head to each neck - just copy a main model...seven times? I think that's how many they had on the puppet in the film...

It cracks me up on the Harryhausen Chronicles where Leonard Nimoy says "Todd Armstrong had the easy job; he only had to slay the beast! But Ray had to animate seven heads...".
