Medieval Art

I'm very interested in the pop-culture approach to medieval art. Films like Sleeping Beauty are a perfect example of a blend of the animator's attempt to create a moving picture, while giving the piece a sense of medieval atmosphere.

To this end does anyone have any books on medieval art they would recommend?

And any particular photoshop brushes/ downloadable brush packs they would recommend as well?

Do a lookup for medieval stainglass windows, should help you some. Also research the Norman Bayeux Tapestry.
