Fastest way to model head from photo

Does anyone know if there is software or a plugin that allows one to model heads quickly from one photograph without having to go from scratch in Maya? I know it is common to just get a generic head and start from there but I didn't know if there was a quicker way. I've seen some cheapy looking stuff and didn't know if anyone has any experience with this.

Thank you for your help!

There are programs that create 3d data from 180-360 photographs, but the data you get is not suitable for animation.

If you're talking about human variation you could create 3-4 heads with variable features that share the same point order. You can make fat, skinny/tall, short, and 'muscular' variations and then use blend shapes to create a multitude of characters.

If you're talking about creating one head from a base model quickly, you can use zbrush to paint color and sculpt detail at the same time. Regardless, it's going to require some cleanup.
