Josh Herman is back with Hard Surface Character Modelling

If you love your robots and you missed this class the last few times it's run, don't miss it this time! Marvel's Josh Herman demonstrates the tips and tricks he's used to model one of the world's most iconic superheroes in his Hard Surface Character Modelling 8 week CGWorkshop. Working mainly in Maya, he'll take you through his process and give you personal feed back on your own model, which you'll build alongside the rest of your online class.

In the course you will make a waist up bust of a bipedal robot. This will include the head, upper torso and abdomen as well as the arms and hands. You'll be given concepts to choose from that range from relatively simple for a beginner, to more complex for advanced students. Other concepts or projects can be used for the course with Josh's approval.

Live webinar sessions will be run throughout the workshop so Josh can give you feedback on your work, and you can ask questions. These will be recorded and posted for those who can't make it.

Josh ran a free webinar last time we ran his workshop - if you missed it, here 's a link.

"Josh is a natural teacher and it was a pleasure to attend this course, I will definitely attend future courses by this master of hardsurface modelling, and I cannot wait to put into practice all the skills he has taught me. Well worth the price and I am very pleased. It was hard work but also fun and rewarding." David Newton, student, Jan 2013.

Starts October. Enrol Now .
