3D space flat image changing color with distance

Greetings ! Im facing a minor problem in my composting stage of my animation;

so i have rendered out a sequence of images of a spaceship animation with a planet and some minor lighting. All of this is on a transparent background, this was done so i could add in the starfield and nebulae in aftereffects.

Now the starfield seems to be working thanks to particular and thats all sorted the main issue im having now is this flat image of nebulae i did in photoshop. This image is 1000 x 1000 and is flat with no alpha and is a jpeg.

So in 3d space when i move this image back by a certain ammount it starts to turn red and tear.
I was hoping for some insight as to why this is happening as i tried snooping around and returned with no results

Below are some images of the problem the first being the image at a range where it is NOT glitching red and the second where it is MEANT TO BE and begins to glitch red.

Thanks in advance to any insight provided
