3d visualzing tips

Hi I am planning to get into 3d visualizing. I know my modeling, texturing, lighting, etc. However, do I need a background in architecture to do such a thing ?. Are there any specials skills I need to know apart from the technical process such as modeling ?

Plus can you please share any e-books that would help me in the process !

No. It won't hurt and is surely helpful but not absolutely necessary.

Learn about tilt shift lenses and how to set them up in your 3d app.
